Mr. Zahid Muzaffar

Mr. Zahid Muzaffar has had a distinguished career in the energy sector, demonstrating exceptional leadership in both the private and public sectors over 44 years. Renowned for his achievements in developing conventional and alternative energy projects locally and internationally, Mr. Muzaffar has successfully navigated the complexities of the oil and gas industry, contributing significantly to both upstream and downstream operations, including the transportation of gas via tertiary pipelines. He served as an ADVISOR to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources and led Pakistan’s energy sector delegation at the 21st World Petroleum Congress in Moscow (Russia) in 2014. Mr. Muzaffar started his career with Pakistan Oil Fields a subsidiary of Attock Oil Company and served till 1986 and joined London and Scottish Marine Oil PLC in Pakistan and later was elevated on the board LASMO Oil Pakistan.

Mr. Muzaffar developed successful working relationships with business professional and government officials internationally, particularly in Far East, South Asia, Middle East and North and East Africa. He was involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions of energy assets during the last 44 years and served on various international company’s board of directors

Mr. Muzaffar holds master’s degree in economics and has attended various management courses at the College of Petroleum Studies and St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, U.K., THE Edwin H. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, U.S.A., Wentworth Consultants, Huddersfield UK and IMD Switzerland.
